摘要
提出一种多介质数据库查询机制的方案与实现方法。该方案将图形中的图元实体与数据库记录以及相关的图象文件、文本文件等组合在一起,构成最基本的逻辑查询单元──结点,然后在结点之间定义一种链式结构,使其彼此相连。在此基础上给出了多介质查询语言QBE的语法及实现方法。这里的QBE语言与传统的QBE的最大区别是在查询的结果视图中,不仅包含了数据,而且还包含了相关的图形、图象等其他介质的信息。
An Implementation method of query machine in multimedia database is presented in this paper. By this method, graphic elements in graphics, records of database, related image files and text files are combined and then constitute the most basic logical query unit-node. Then a link structure is defined so that the nodes are connected each other. Based on this, the gramma and the implementation method of query language QBE are presented. The most difference between this QBE language and traditional QBE languages is that in the query result views, there are not only data, but also information of the related graphics, images and other media.
