As a new combat pattern,UAV swarm operation will inevitably impact the current operational concepts and patterns of operation.The paper is based on the advantanges of UAV swarm such as precise reconnaissance, unmanned combat, and three-dimensional maneuvering,and these advantages could be complementary elements to the potential shortcomings such as real-time communication, cross-domain coordination, and battlefield support.The paper discusses mainly the unique advantages and patterns of operation on the application of UAV swarm in the airborne operation,and in view of the application of UAV swarm in the airborne operation, the corresponding countermeasures and suggestions are put forward.
