Analysis and Computation for the Junction Between a Square and a Circular Waveguide Loaded with Dielectric

Computational formula for such type of boundary value problem as that of the junction between a square and a circular waveguide both loaded with dielectric is derived. The numerical techniques of some special formulas are discussed. The choice of modes and their numbers in the two waveguides as well as the relative Convergence phenomenon is discussed and analysed, The equivalent network of the junction between a square and a circular wave-guide is developed from the solution of the boundary value problem. An example of numerical results is given.
