"会党"是以孙中山为代表的中国资产阶级革命派对一切以"反清复明"为宗旨的民间秘密团体的总称。革命党人曾联络会党发动多次举行武装起义,1907年爆发的潮州饶平黄冈起义就是其中著名的一次。在这次起义中会党发挥了重要的作用,会党是这次起义最基本的依靠力量。
