With the healthy development of higher vocational education in Shandong, the essential feature of itself has been initially manifested. Based on the analysis on the current situation and basic characteristics of higher vocational education in Shandong, the main problems in its development are approached,and its developing tendency and strategy in the future are pointed. It is thought that with the guidance of the marketing, the connotation type, characteristic and open style developmental way will become the developmental trend of the higher vocational education in Shandong.
