妇女撑起“一带一路”公共外交半边天

Women contribute to public diplomacy under the Belt and Road Initiative

随着"一带一路"公共外交的逐渐拓展和深入,以妇女、女性、性别平等为主题或特色的活动日益增多,"一带一路"沿线国家妇女相互交流、相互学习、共促发展的模式正处于不断摸索和机制化过程中。进一步推动"一带一路"女性公共外交要注意发展以下四方面:充分发挥女性的性格优势和能力优势、增加妇女在各层级"一带一路"外交中的参与数量、现有"一带一路"妇女活动的相互学习与合作、与性别平等的全球治理进程相协同。

With the gradual expansion of public diplomacy under the Belt and RoadInitiative, the number of events addressing topics of women and gender equality has increased. Women from countries along the Belt and Road route have been exchanging views and knowledge with one another. This approach is currently being analyzed for its potential as a best case study. We should pay attention to the following four aspects in order to further promote female public diplomacy: release the potential of women's advantages regarding personality and ability; increase the number of women participating in public diplomacy at all levels; encourage the exchange and cooperation among women involved in the current events under the Belt and Road Initiative; and respect gender equality in the process of global governance.
