Promoting people-to-people ties through international Chinese education——thoughts based on the field study of Cambodia Royal Institute's Confucius Institute

在新时代,国际汉语教育与中华文化传播在中国'一带一路'倡议中扮演着民心相通桥梁的角色。基于对柬埔寨王家学院孔子学院的实地调查,对孔子学院推进汉语教育国际化的进程何以促进民心相通、在此背景下取得了哪些成绩和面临什么瓶颈进行了分析,并对如何从维护国家利益的战略高度。

In the new era, international education of Chinese language and dissemination of Chinese culture play the role of a bridge of people-to-people ties. Based on a field study of Cambodia Royal Institute's Confucius Institute, this paper analyzes the ways in which international education of Chinese language can improve people-to-people connectivity. It also reviews the achievements and challenges in this area. It finally offers suggestions on efforts to create Chinese international education method and mode with new era characteristics with a view of protecting China's national interests.
