猫丘脑腹后内侧核向皮质躯体感觉面区的定位投射

TOPOGRAPHIC PROJECTIONS OF VENTROPOSTEROMEDIAL THALAMIC NUCLEUS TO THE FACIAL SOMATOSENSORY CORTICAL AREA IN THE CAT

本文应用HRP逆行追踪技术对猫丘脑腹后内侧核内投射神经元向头面部躯体感觉皮质区的定位投射进行了研究。结果证明,猫丘脑腹后内侧核大细胞部的内侧部投射至冠状回下部;腹后内侧核大细胞部的中部投射至冠状回上部;腹后内侧核大细胞部的外侧部投射至上斯氏回前下部。本文所见标记细胞均出现于HRP注射部位的同侧,为中型圆及椭圆形细胞。

The topographic projections of the ventroposteromedial thalamic nucleus (VPM) to the facial somatosensory cortical area (the coronal gyrus, Cg; the anteroinferior part of the suprasylvian gyrus, SS) were investigated with HRP retrograde tracing method in the cat. After injections of HRP into the inferior part of Cg, labelled cells were found in the medial area of the magnocellular part of VPM (VPMmc). With injections into the superior part of Cg,labelled cells were observed in the central area of the VPMmc, while with injections into the anteroinferior part of SS, they were present in the lateral area of the VPMmc. All labelled cells were observed in the VPMmc ipsilateral to the injection side. Most of the labelled cells were medium-sized, spherical or ellipsoidal.
