With a brief review of Shenzhen’s density zoning and volume management,the paper introduces how Shenzhen catches the opportunity of secondary development to realize volume management in urban renewal.It analyzes the practice of Shenzhen city in complex volume,targeted management,dynamic examination for refined management and improvement.It is valuable to the planning,management,and implementation of urban renewal in other Chinese cities.
