摘要
适用于视频会议与在线聊天室的CSM(ConferenceSteinerMulticast)协议,在支持移动主机时存在多播树切换频率过高,网络开销过大的问题。运用Range(服务范围)的概念,结合MobileIP隧道技术,提出了一种改进的CSM协议———RBCSM(RangeBasedCSM)协议。RBCSM协议在降低多播树切换频率,节省网络带宽方面性能优越。同时由于运用了MobileIP的隧道技术,还有进一步提高网络安全性的可能。最后,对CSM和RBCSM的多播树切换频率及多播树路径总长度两个性能指标进行了仿真模拟比较。
The CSM(Conference Steiner Multicast) protocol which is suitable for the video conference and online chatting has the problems of too high switch frequency of multicast tree and too much overhead in network when it supports mobile hosts.Therefore,in this paper,we use the concept of Range and the technology of Mobile IP tunnel to propose an improved CSM protocolRBCSM(RangeBased CSM)protocol, which has advantage of reducing tree's switch frequencey and saving network resource.Beside,RBCSM has the possibility of improving network's security due to using Mobile IP tunnel.At last,we do the simulation and compare performances of the switch frequency and the total path length of the trees between CSM and RBCSM.
