Upgrading Newly-established Colleges and Universities Requires New Ideas in Transformation

在我国高等教育大发展、大改革、大竞争的形势下 ,一大批新的高等学校应运而生 ,这些新办高校大多是由中专学校或成人高校升格为高等职业技术学院 ,高等专科学校升格为本科学校。他们面临的一项重要任务就是尽快完成由低一级学校向高一级学校的转轨。转轨不是简单的模仿 ,要在转轨中创新。创新要有很强的改革意识、质量意识、国际意识 ,才能办成高水平、高质量。

In the circumstances of our higher education's rapid development,large-scale reformation and severe competition,a large number of new colleges and universities come into being,most of which are the newly-established higher vocational schools transformed from secondary specialized schools and adult training institutions,and universities from colleges.One of the most important tasks we'll face is to complete the transformation from a lower-level school to a higher-level one as soon as possible.The transformation is not just a kind of simple imitation,but requires us to trans-form find our own ways.To bring forth new ideas,we should have a strong sense of reform,quality and internationization.Only in this way can we turn our colleges and universities into high-level,highly-qualified and characteristic ones.
