Bibliometric Analysis of China's Pacific Island Countries Research Based on Mapping Knowledge Domains

随着中国与太平洋岛国政治和经济关系的日益紧密,太平洋岛国研究获得国内外学者的普遍关注。借助知识图谱分析国内太平洋岛国的研究文献,能够系统性呈现该研究领域的历史演进趋势,有助于推动该领域的进一步发展。国内太平洋岛国研究经历了缓慢发展阶段、波动上升阶段和快速发展时期。研究发现,现阶段核心作者群的集聚程度较高,且较为重视太平洋岛国的应用性研究,基础性研究工作较为薄弱,跨区域和跨学科的合作研究有待加强。在太平洋岛国国际关系研究方面,大国外交与太平洋岛国的政治格局、太平洋岛国的国际治理问题、中国与太平洋岛国的合作与援助、中国参与太平洋岛国海洋治理、中国大陆与台湾地区在太平洋岛国的政治博弈等正在成为持续发酵的研究议题。

With the closer political and economic relations forged between China and Pacific island countries, the study of Pacific island countries has attracted widespread attention from scholars at home and abroad. With the help of Mapping Knowledge Domains,the paper takes stock of Chinese research literature on Pacific island countries. Chinese research on Pacific island countries has gone through three stages –from embryonic period, fluctuation period through rapid development period. At present, there is a high degree of concentration of core authors, but cross-regional and cross-disciplinary cooperative research need to be strengthened. While more attention is paid to applied research of Pacific island countries, basic research is relatively weak. The study of international relations of Pacific island countries has been thrust into the limelight, with several hot topic researches such as superpower diplomacy, politics, international governance and China’s involvement in the region.
