The Reconstruction of the Current International Economic Order and the Defining of China’s Responsibility

中国在现行国际经济秩序重构过程中应当承担何种责任,主要取决于中国的发展水平。目前,在'人均'意义上,中国仍属于发展中国家,原本只应承担作为一个发展中国家的责任,而不是像西方国家那样,从'总量'的角度将中国定位一个高度发达的经济体,据此要求中国承担一个'全球领导者'的责任。但是,中国作为一个'负责任的大国',站在'道德的高地',愿意承担起高于一般发展中国家的特殊责任。

The responsibility that China should undertake in the course of the reconstruction of the new International Economic Order should be determined in accordance with the level of China’s development.Currently,in the"average"sense China still belongs to the group of developing country,thus China should only undertake the responsibility accorded to a developing country.Rather,it is not reasonable for China to undertake responsibility as a"global leader"as proposed by western countries judging by China’s total economic output.Nonetheless,as a"responsible power",China is willing to undertake special and more responsibility than that of the average developing countries.
