Economic operation report of China's petroleum and chemical industry in 2018

2018年,我国石油和化工行业规模以上企业全年增加值比上年增长4.6%;主营业务收入12.4万亿元,增长13.6%,利润总额8393.8亿元,增长32.1%。原油天然气总产量3.34亿吨油当量,比上年增长2.4%。其中原油产量1.89亿吨,进口原油4.62亿吨,原油对外依存度达70.8%;天然气产量(含煤层气)1610.2亿立方米,进口天然气1257.2亿立方米,天然气对外依存度达43.2%。2018年,在中美贸易摩擦加剧等外部环境发生深刻变化、市场价格剧烈震荡、石化市场需求增长乏力以及投资动力不足的情况下,我国石油和化工行业效益持续较快增长,其中油气开采业利润呈现恢复性增长势头,化学工业继续保持改善态势;经济结构继续优化升级;出口好于预期;油气消费增长加快。2019年世界经济仍面临很大不确定性,石油和化工市场面临较大挑战,价格可能低位震荡。预计2019年,我国石油和化工行业主营业务收入增长8%左右;利润总额与上年相比基本持平或略有增加;出口交货值增幅在15%上下。

In 2018, the annual value added of above-scale enterprises in China’s petroleum and chemical industries increased by 4.6% over the previous year. Its main business revenue was 12.4 trillion yuan, up 13.6%, and its total profit was839.38 billion yuan, up 32.1%. The total crude oil and natural gas production totaled 334 million tons of oil equivalent, rising2.4% from the previous year. It produced 189 million tons and imported 462 million tons of crude oil, accounting for 70.8%of the dependence on foreign oil. Natural gas output(including CBM) reached 161.02 billion cubic meters, its imports reached125.72 billion cubic meters, and the dependence on foreign gas reached 43.2%. Under such complicated environment in 2018 as the intensified Sino-American trade friction, the violently fluctuating market price, and the weak growth of petrochemical market demand and investment motivation, benefits of China’s petroleum and chemical industry continued to grow rapidly, oil and gas exploration industry profit witnessed a restorative growth, and chemical industry continued to keep improving status.The economic structure continued to improve and upgrade and exports were better than expected. In 2019, the world economy will still see great uncertainty, oil and chemical markets are facing major challenges, and prices may fluctuate at a low level.The main business income of China’s petroleum and chemical industry is expected to grow by about 8%, the total profit will basically flat or slightly increase from the previous year;and the export delivery value will increase by about 15%.
