六朝时期长江中下游地区经济发展显著,但自然景观并没有遭到严重破坏,各种野生动物仍然随处可见。渔猎是六朝皇室、贵族喜好的游乐方式,同时渔猎采集所得也是普通百姓弥补耕织不足、维持生活水平的重要来源,贵族官员占山护泽对当时百姓生活的影响相当大。

The economic development in the middle and lower reaches of the Yangtze River was significant in the Six Dynasties,and the natural landscape of the region wasn' t seriously damaged and wildlife resources could be seen everywhere.Fishing and Hunting were royal and aristocrats' favorite amusement,while the income from fishing,hunting and gathering was important for common people to make up the shortage of income from farming and weaving,and maintain their standard of living.The existence of private hill and lake owned by officials had great impact on people' s living.
