建构一流本科生科研参与的大学环境——基于挑战与支持视角的质性研究

Building up College Environment for Excellent Undergraduate Research Engagement——An Qualitative Research based on Challenge and Support Theories

"本科生科研"已经成为世界一流大学提高人才培养质量、培养创新型人才的有效途径之一。目前,我国对本科生科研的实证性研究还有待补充。根据北京大学教育学院"高等理科改革"课题数据,从大学生发展领域挑战与支持的理论视角出发,采用质性研究的方法,对案例学校本科生科研参与现状进行了分析,提炼了理科生科研参与中有效挑战与支持的关键要素。研究认为适度挑战和有效支持是理科大学生形成卓越的科研参与的重要条件;单纯强调挑战或支持,都不足以帮助学生完成卓越的科研参与。

Undergraduate Research has become an important method to improve educational quality and cultivate creativity.At present,the empirical research on undergraduate scientific research in China needs to be supplemented.Based on the Project Data of'Reform of Higher Science'of the Education College in Peking University,the study takes the theory of challenges and support as the theoretical perspective.By using qualitative research method,the study has analyzed the present situation of undergraduate participation in scientific research and abstracted the key elements in effective challenges and support for students’participation in scientific research.The paper finds that effective challenge and adequate support are necessary for excellence of undergraduate research engagement.
