In late September and October 2013,the production company Mahua Fun Age presented the third revision of Men in Beijing's Haidian Theatre.This version took a completely new turn,the plot transformed from tragedy to comedy.Conceived as a critical look at feudalism and outdated thoughts,comic elements in no way reduced the effectiveness of the message.This production is a fine example of the success of co-productions involving government and private sources.
