上一章中,我描述了在选定一部合适的剧目后,制作人该从哪些方面入手来组织剧目制作。当制作人全身心投入后,意味着导演和其他主创人员也必须全身心投入于剧目研究之中。对我来说,这是执导过程中最快乐的时刻,而寻找有用的素材的过程,常常充满惊奇和灵感。文本来源显然很多音乐剧建立在文学作品之上,因此研究剧目的过程。
