《大同》是今年香港艺术节委约香港作曲家陈庆恩创作的小型室内歌剧,共演出三场。笔者观赏了3月22日最后一晚演出,400多座位的香港大会堂剧院座无虚席(后得知三场全满),如果说这是因为香港观众十分关注香港的原创歌剧的发展,却毋宁说这多少与主办者能配合举办了众多"加料节目"的市场营销策略大有关系;单是演出前便有康有为的"面面观展览"、"执导现代歌剧"、"
The Chinese Utopia is a chamber opera by Hong Kong composer Chan Hing-yan commissioned by the Hong Kong Arts Festival,The title derives from Kang Youwei's book of the same name,outlining his pursuit for the Chinese Utopia.The story chronicles three generations of the Kang family,with Datong Utopia as its central theme,revealing the political pressures of the era.
