When people mention the name Yongle,we associate him with Yongle the Great,Yongle Encyclopedia and the heyday during the reign of Emperor Yongle.In November 2013,Ye Xiaogang's opera Tongle was reported to have its world premiere at the 6^(th) Olympic Drama Festival(November 2014).Alas,the scheduled world premiere did not take place.In the beginning of this year,a public rehearsal was presented to Beijing and Tianjin media.In late June and early July,the opera eventually made its appearance at the Tianjin Grand Theatre and NCPA.
