早在两千多年前,中国的《礼记·乐记》中就已有'情动于中,故形于声;声成文,谓之音'的描述,表面上音乐是感情变化的表露;而'言之不足,故长言之;长言之不足,故嗟叹之;嗟叹之不足,故不知手之舞之,足之蹈之也',则可谓对表演艺术发生、展衍的精准阐述。
Chinese opera artists adhere to the philosophy of creating the nation’s 'own opera.' While practicing their art,they should absorb all influences ancient and modern,whether originating from China or introduced from abroad.Every Chinese opera should have a 'Chinese imprimatur,' shining forth on the world stage.
