摘要
本文以汉语三大同心圈为视角,探讨新加坡现行汉语文化教材中存在的一些问题:具有明显的中华文化教材印迹;以'文以载道'为主轴,把选编的范文作为'传道'的教材;重视陈述性文化知识,忽略程序性文化知识;内容过于陈旧,与学生的现实生活脱节。本文最后对新加坡汉语文化教材进行了反思并提出教材编写应走的方向:汉语教材应该采用第二语言教学的编写模式;走结构、功能、文化相结合的路子;先听说、再读、后写;加强教材内容的针对性。
Based on an analysis of the three concentric circles of Mandarin,this paper seeks to address issues pertaining to Chinese teaching materials in Singapore.The underlying theme of the Singaporean teaching materials is the transmission of Chinese culture.Hence texts are selected for inclusion as a means of cultural transmission.By over-emphasizing declarative cultural knowledge and under-emphasizing procedural cultural knowledge,these texts create a substantial gap between what is taught and the actual day-to-day lives led by students.This paper proposes that Chinese teaching materials should instead adopt a model of second language teaching that entails the integration of structure,function and culture.Such teaching materials should focus first on the language skills of listening and speaking,then reading,and finally writing.The contents of teaching materials should be tailored to further address the relevant profile of targeted students.
