从《步步高中文》到《第一步》——远程汉语教材改编案例

From Chinese in Steps to First Steps:A Case Study of Revising Teaching Materials for Distance Chinese Language Teaching

《第一步》(The Open University,2009)是英国开放大学根据《步步高中文》系列汉语教材第一、二册改编而成的远程初级汉语教材。本文先介绍选择《步步高中文》作为《第一步》改编母本的原因及其主要特点;再结合《第一步》的具体改编工作,探讨远程外语教材改编的一些做法,如:分解教学目标,调整教材内部结构,细化语法点解释并突出其功能和用法,注重语言活动的互动性以及体现教师存在等。

First Steps(The Open University,2009),Beginners’Chinese course books designed for distance learning,are the adaptation of Vol.1 and Vol.2 of Chinese in Steps.This article briefly explains why the Open University chose Chinese in Steps as the basis for the adaptation as well as the key features of this series.It then goes on to consider the amendments made and additional materials added to meet the challenges of teaching languages from a distance learning perspective.The amendments are made by setting achievable learning objectives,lesson structural adjustments,using simple language and functional approach to explain grammar,making language activities interactive,and embedding the tutor voice in the teaching materials,etc.
