摘要
Angola, Cuba, South Africa and the United States began two days of peace talks in London on May 3. The Angolan Government is offering to withdraw an estimated 40,000 Cuban troops stationed on its soil. In return, Angola wants independence for Namibia, the withdrawal of South African troops from its southern provinces, and an end to US and South African support for UNITA rebels.
