Bridge and culvert construction and its environment protection measures of Mombasa-Nairobi Standard Gauge Railway

在总结蒙内铁路桥涵修建经验的基础上,分析了沿线设施和环境对桥涵修建的影响和要求,阐述了新建桥涵式样、孔径、基础类型的选择原则以及特殊地区桥涵修建的注意事项,总结了桥涵修建对生态环境与水土保持的影响及采取的措施。可为非洲地区其他铁路工程中的桥涵修建提供相应的参考。

Based on the construction experiences of bridge and culvert in Mombasa-Nairobi Standard Gauge Railway, we analyzed the impact and requirements of roadside facilities and environments on the construction of bridge and culvert,discussed the selection principle of type, span and foundation of new bridge and culvert, and the precautions for the construction of bridges and culverts in special areas, summarized the influence of bridge and culvert construction on ecological environment, soil and water conservation and the environment protection measures, which could provide a reference for the bridge and culvert construction in other similar railway engineering of Africa.
