The application examples of functional fibers in military fields were briefly illustrated, while this article introduced mainly in light transmitting cable under sea used for large capacitive telecom between countries, equipment for melting snow using combination of new type electricity conducting fiber and solar sell battery, graphene containing propylene ultra-capacity fiber, high water absorbent and high humidity absorbent polyacrylate fiber, nonwoven fabric which can absorb radiant aerosol in atmosphere, ion-exchange fiber which can absorb and chelate heavy metals, iodine and boron, special nonwoven fabric which can absorb uranium, vanadium and cesium, new developments and new applications of carbon nanotube, applications of nano-fibers in sand controlling, air filter for engine, nano-cellulose composite, transparent semi-conductor printed substrate, transparent substrate for solar cell, white and energy saving door paper. These functional fibers can also be used in military fields.
