从引力波观测中挖掘大学物理教学素材

摘要 引力波是爱因斯坦广义相对论的重要预言,非常难于观测。近两年前,人们第一次直接观测到了宇宙深处传来的引力波,证实了它的存在。引力波具有独特的物理性质,为波动增加了新的形式。其观测技术的核心是迈克耳孙干涉仪,但增添了精密技术,提高了观测精度。结合大学物理教学内容,我们从引力波中挖掘了丰富的教学素材。素材用在课堂上能使教学过程生动活泼,开拓学生视野,提高学习兴趣;素材引入到考试题目中,能够考察课程教学效果和学生学习能力。 Gravitational wave is Einstein's important prediction on the General Relativity.Nearly two years ago,a gravitational wave from the deep universe has been observed for the first time,which proves Einstein's prediction.Gravitational wave is a new form of wave,whose physics properties are different from other waves.The core apparatus of the related observation is a Michelson Interferometer with precision technology.Based on the teaching content of university physics,we sought for abundant teaching materials from gravitational waves.Not only can these materials enliven the teaching course,widen the visual field,and enhance the studying interests in physics class,but also can be used in checking the teaching effect and the learning ability in physics examination.
