大学物理全英文教学的教学模式实践和探讨

THE PRACTICE AND DISCUSSION ON THE TEACHING MODE OF FULL ENGLISH TEACHING IN COLLEGE PHYSICS

大学物理是理工科学生的基础课程,全英文授课对外国留学生和部分中国学生都大有裨益。本文基于大学物理课程的英文授课实践,分析授课对象和学情,探讨在授课过程中所使用的两种教学方式,传统教师讲授式和混合式教学模式,讨论不同授课模式的效果,并总结其利弊。传统授课模式可以全面地讲授知识,完整地讲授物理思想和思维,整体性较好。混合式教学模式利用网上的英文优质课程视频资源和搜集整理的课程资料,合理地剪切再组合,使上课方式改为教师授课、观看视频和学生讨论练习的多种教学方式集合。混合式教学模式则在提高学生积极性、增强学生理论联系实际能力上效果显著。

College physics is a basic course for science and engineering students.Teaching in all English will greatly benefit foreign students and some Chinese students.This paper based on teaching practice of the college physics all in English to foreign students.The paper discuss the students' situation and two teaching methods used in the teaching process,which are the traditional teaching mode and mixed teaching mode.We discussed the effect of different teaching modes and summarizes the advantages and disadvantages.The traditional teaching mode can comprehensively teach knowledge,complete physics ideas.Th mixed teaching mode based on the high quality curriculum English video resources on the Internet and the course materials,reasonable integrated.In one lesson,the teachers' teaching,video watching and students' discussion are interspersed.The blended teaching mode has remarkable effect on improving the students' enthusiasm and strengthening the students' ability to integrate theory with practice.
