光纤的弯曲及浸没溶液折射率对光纤输出功率的影响

摘要 光纤传输在通讯领域的运用很大程度地节约了成本,但受到弯曲部分的影响,每经过一个弯曲处光信号就会损耗一部分,因而信号传输距离及弯曲程度决定了光信号的接收灵敏度。在光纤弯曲中,弯曲半径越大损耗就越小,波长不同受到的损耗也不相同,探究影响光纤弯曲损耗的因素也就具有很重要的现实意义。同时光纤包覆层的折射率对光纤传输也会产生影响,为了简化我们将光纤浸没在不同溶液中,以溶液等效包覆层,研究浸没溶液对光纤折射率的影响。本文通过实验探究,验证了光纤曲率半径及弯曲传输距离影响弯曲损耗,光纤输出功率与浸没溶液折射率成正比。可以提供一种很好的测量液体折射率的方法。 Optical fiber communication is a frontier science and technology which expanded rapidly.Optical fiber communication saves the cost largely in the Communication field,but optical signal will be affected by the bending part.Thus the distance of Signal transmission and the bending degree determines the receiving sensitivity of optical signal.1 Bending radius of Optical fiber is proportionate to loss of output power.Study on the influence factors of fiber bending loss have realistic significance.Meanwhile,the refractive index of coating layer will also have an effect on Optical fiber communication.For simplicity in the design,we put the fiber immersed in different solutions.Considering the solution equivalent to the coating layer,we study on the effect of the refractive index of solution immersed.Through the experimental study,we prove that the distance of signal transmission and the bending degree have an effect on bending loss,and the output power is proportionate to the refractive index of solution immersed.A method for measuring the refractive index of a liquid can be provided.
