现代远程教育—西部大开发的战略选择

Telecommunication Education —— the Strategical Choice of Wester Development

本文根据中央关于西部大开发的战略部署 ,从西部科技教育落后是制约西部地区加快发展的根本原因出发 ,提出了西部大开发 ,首先是教育的大开发 ,现代远程教育是西部大开发的战略选择。通过对现代远程教育及其优势 ,并作为开发西部教育的首选模式进行了论述 ,试图探索现代远程教育在西部大开发中加快发展教育的基本思路 。

According to central government's strategical deployment of western Region Development and the fact that the quick development of western region is suppressed by its backwards in education, science and technology, this paper brings up that western Development should begin with educational development, that is to say, the modern telecommunication education is the strategical choice of western Development. By aralysing the modern telecommunication education as the first choice to develop education in the west, the paper also tries to find out the basic way of thinking that modern education plays an important role in developing western education, so as to promote the western region's economy and development of our society.
