试论“以德治国”对加强精神文明建设的意义

“以德治国”重要思想对加强社会主义精神文明建设的理论意义是 :从建立与社会主义市场经济相适应的道德体系的角度看 ,是代表中国先进生产力的发展要求的战略抉择 ;从建构具有中国特色的社会主义新型政治文化的角度看 ,是代表中国先进文化的发展方向的题中应有之义 ;从人的全面发展出发 ,是代表中国最广大人民的根本利益的必然选择。“以德治国”对加强社会主义精神文明建设的实践意义是 :在新世纪精神文明建设的实际工作中 ,应自觉按照“三个代表”的要求 ,进一步突出道德建设的作用 ,在根本任务和中心环节上下功夫 。

The theoretical significance of the important thought of 'the country by the rule of virtue for strengthening construction of socialist spiritual civilization is that it is the strategical choice to represent the Chinese advanced productive-forces' development and requirement from the angle of establishing socialist market economy which is suited to moral system;it represents the orientation of advanced culture from the angle of structuring new type political culture of socialism with the Chinese characteristics;it is the inevitable choice to represent the fundamental interests of the overhelming majority of the people in China.The practical significance of 'governing the country by the rule of virtue' for strengthening construction of socialist spiritual civilization is that in the practical work of construction of spiritual civilization in the new times we should further protrude the function of moral construction,stress the essential task and central chain and promote construction of spiritual civilization to develop in depth according to the requirement of the 'Three Represents'.
