Experience of Professor Hong Liang in Treating Spring Catarrhal Conjunctivitis

春季卡他性结膜炎是一种季节性、反复发作的免疫性结膜炎,具有奇痒难忍、每年至期而发,过期而愈的特点,是临床常见眼病,难治病。洪亮教授认为该病主要是由于虚多实少,气血亏虚,时邪内伏而引起;或因风热外侵,饮食不节,脾胃湿热内蕴,复感风邪,血虚生风等因素引起。因此应采用益气养血,扶正固本,祛风除湿止痒法进行治疗。

Spring catarrhal conjunctivitis is a seasonal,recurrent immune conjunctivitis,with itching intolerable,annual expiration and healing characteristics,is a common clinical eye disease,refractory disease.Professor Hong Liang believed that the disease was mainly caused by deficiency of excess and excess,deficiency of qi and blood,and internal accumulation of pathogenic factors;or by external invasion of wind and heat,improper diet,dampness and heat of the spleen and stomach,re-sensation of wind pathogenic factors,blood deficiency and wind.Therefore,we should adopt the methods of invigorating qi and nourishing blood,strengthening the body and strengthening the root,dispelling wind,removing dampness and relieving itching.
