未婚年轻人对避孕服务需求的研究——来自8个省市的调查报告

Needs in Contraceptive Services among Young Unmarried People in Eight Provinces/cities in China.

目的:了解18～24岁未婚年轻成人对避孕服务包括咨询服务的态度与需求,为今后向未婚青年提供服务提供科学依据。方法:采用小组专题讨论会的方法,于1998年7月～1999年4月在我国8省市对18～24岁未婚年轻成人进行了访谈。结果:尽管目前各地(特别是城市)的未婚青年可以较方便地从药店、商店或超市买到避孕药具,但却满足不了他们对药具质量和咨询服务的需求。研究对象普遍认为社会应该向未婚青年提供避孕服务和咨询服务,并提出了他们可接受的服务方式。结论:为了提高未婚青年对避孕服务和咨询服务的可及性并提高服务质量,应该定点销售避孕药具,加强对销售避孕药具药店的监督管理和对药店服务人员的培训;设立专门的青少年/未婚青年生殖健康问题咨询服务点。

Objective;To understand the unmet needs of unmarried young adults aged 18-24 for contraceptive services including counseling services and identify their acceptable ways to provide the services. Methods; Focus group discussion was used to collect data in eight provinces/cities in China from May 1998 to A-pril 1999. Results; Although it was wery convenient for young unmarried people to get contraceptive methods from drug stores, shops and supermarkets, especially in urban areas, their needs for high quality of contraceptives and counseling could not be met. They consented that contraceptive services including counseling should be provided for them because premarital sexual behavior could not be controlled by limiting the provision of contraceptive methods. Young unmarried people had special needs in contraceptive services. Conclusion; To increase the access of young unmarried people to contraception and counseling services, it is important to provide contraceptive methods at specified drug stores, strengthen supervision to the drug stores and train drug store clerks. Special counseling center which provide information and services only for adolescents/young unmarried people should also be set up.
