The Public Art Management in Subway Spaces

摘要 过去二十年,中国高速的地铁建设带来了地铁空间特色的危机问题,如车站面貌雷同,识别性低等。目前中国正经历功能地铁向人文地铁的转变过程中,因此公共艺术介入地铁空间的必要性主要体现在三方面:公众对自然界和人文历史的需求、公众对地铁空间识别的需求,以及公众对地铁空间之美的永恒追求。本文从当下中国地铁公共艺术的表现形式、选题管理、选位管理三方面进行梳理阐述及发展趋势预估,并探讨了地铁公共艺术运作机制的问题,最终探讨了地铁空间中的美从何而来。 The high-speed construction of the subway system in China for the past two decades has brought about the crisis for the subway spaces to look very much alike without distinct regional features. Nowadays, China’s subway system is undergoing a transformation from function to culture. As a result, the intervention of the public art in the subway spaces asserts its urgency in the following three ways: a demand for the history of the nature and human society;another demand for the identification of particular subway spaces;and above all the long-lasting pursuit of beauty. This article elaborates and anticipates the development of the subway public art in China from the perspectives of the artistic expression, theme and site management. It also addresses the issue of the operational mode for the subway public art as well as where the beauty of the subway spaces comes from.
