公共艺术引领下的新社区发展

Public Art Drives the Development of New Community

在第四届国际公共艺术奖的评选中,来自东亚国家和地区的多元化的公共艺术作品,通过艺术介入到城市改造、社区发展、居民变迁等多个现存问题中,在保护本土文化的同时试图构建与外界的有效的沟通方式,不但增加了艺术对周边环境的改造与建设,也邀请了更多的当地居民参与其中。本文将通过归纳几个较为突出的公共艺术项目,试图呈现案例中公共艺术作品对社区建设和城市改造的贡献。

In the selection of the 4 th IAPA,public art works from East Asian countries and regions attempt to protect the local culture and meanwhile build effective communication with the outside world through the intervention of art into urban renewal,community development,and resident migration.These projects not only help the transformation and construction of the surrounding environment,but also invite more local residents to participate.This paper will summarize several prominent public art projects and indicate how they contribute to community building and urban transformation.
