Three Points on "Xinzhai Period

学术界提出“新砦期”的意义在于通过这一过渡遗存把二里头文化和当地龙山文化联接起来 ,并以此作为探求早期夏文化和夏王朝起始年代的考古学基础。然而在有关“新砦期”最新论证中存在的诸多失误 ,降低了这一学术成果的科学性 ,其可信程度因此受到影响。

Xinzhai Period' was put forward to link the period of Erlitou Culture and Longshan Culture. It is used as the basis to explore early culture and the starting time of Xia Dynasty. However, Researches on 'Xinzhai Period' was based on several mistakes, which has undermined its academic value and scientific credit.
