MaoZedong's theory about the criterion of productivity force,DengXiaoping's theory of 'three benefits', and Jiang Zemin's theory of 'three represents' form a theoretical system in which the latter comes down in one continuous line from the former. All of the three theories are important expatiations on the questions of how and under which party's leadership a socialist country will be constructed. As a very important component of Deng Xiaoping's ideology, the 'three represents' is the development as well as the inheritance of the 'three benefits'.
