行户世袭 ,是明朝户籍管理的基本制度 ,并为此制定了一整套管理办法。医户管理也不例外。从医学发展角度看 ,世医制度一方面在医生待遇不高的背景下稳定了医生队伍 ,并促进了医疗经验的继承和总结提高 ,推动了学术门派的产生 ;另一方面 ,世医制度也在一定程度上制约了医药创新 ,阻碍了医学的发展。总结明朝世医制度对医学发展的影响 ,对于我们采取正确的措施 ,妥善处理中医药的继承和发展关系 ,无疑有着诸多借鉴价值。

From the point of view of medical development, the hereditary-doctor system in the Ming Dynasty played a role in facilitating the inheritance and summary of medical experience and promoting the emergence of different medical schools. On the other hand, this system restricted medical innovation and development to some extent. A summary of the impact of the hereditary-doctor system in the Ming Dynasty on the development of medical science, therefore, will help us to adopt the right procedures and deal properly with the relationship between inheritance and development.
