Professor WU Huaqiang attaches great importance to etiology and pathogenesis in treating sweating disease,is expert in tracing etiology by syndrome differentiation. In WU's opinion,the disease is caused by the combination of deficiency of vital-qi and evil,so the characteristic in prescribing medicine is distinct and unique.Medicine for reinvigoration is aiming at the principal aspect; the secondary aspect is to replenish qi and consolidate the superficial resistance as well as stop perspiration with astringents.
