This paper introduces archiater YAN Weiping’s experience in the treatment of traumatic paraplegia.He holds that the main pathogenesis of traumatic paraplegia lies in the damage of Du Channel.It can effectively improve the clinical symptoms of the patients with traumatic paraplegia and increase their confidence in rehabilitation by preoperative manipulative reduction and traction,surgical decompression and fixation,and postoperative psychological,electro-acupuncture and home rehabilitation,which gives full play of the advantages of TCM and Western medicine,respectively,and has obtained marked curative effect.One typical case is attached for verification.
