University Library and Character Education for College Students

图书馆不仅是学校的信息中心 ,也是大学生素质教育的重要阵地。高校图书馆在对大学生进行素质教育中有着得天独厚的优势。图书馆具有四项素质教育职能 :思想教育职能、专业教育职能、教学辅助职能、信息素质教育职能。

With the development of advanced education and information technologies, university library not only acts as an information center, but also plays a key role of character education for college students. It is necessary and important that university library should take the responsibility for student' character education, and the four functions possessed by university libraries are also proposed. Moreover, the specified measures taken for developing character education are given in detail.
