摘要
设计了一种4 bit毫米波MEMS移相器驱动电路,主要由24 bit串并转换电路、高压控制电路和升压电路组成。利用24 bit串并转换电路和高压控制电路,实现了波控机控制系统与MEMS移相器的接口转换,满足毫米波MEMS移相器对正反相驱动电压的要求。采用升压电路,实现了5 V电压向80 V毫米波MEMS移相器驱动电压的DC/DC转换。测试结果表明,设计的MEMS移相器驱动电路实现了对4 bit MEMS移相器的16态相移控制,驱动电路的静态电流仅为12.4 mA@5 V,满足了毫米波MEMS移相器对驱动信号的要求和相控阵天线演示系统对低功耗的要求,解决了毫米波MEMS移相器低成本驱动问题。
A 4-bit millimeter wave MEMS phase shifter driver circuit was presented.The driver circuit combined a 24-bit serial-to-parallel conversion circuit,a high voltage control circuit and a voltage booster circuit.Interface conversion between beam-control system and MEMS phase shifter was achieved by 24-bit serial-to-parallel conversion and high-voltage control circuits,which offered positive and negative inversion drive voltage require of the millimeter wave MEMS phase shifter.DC/DC conversion from 5 V to 80 V was realized by the voltage booster circuit.Experiment shows that the driver circuit serves 16-stage phase shift of the 4-bit MEMS phase shifter,while the static current of the driver is as low as 12.4 mA@5 V.The proposed circuit can satisfy the requirements of millimeter-wave MEMS phase shifter for driving signals and phased array antenna demonstration systems for low power consumption,and solve the problem of low-cost driving of millimeter-wave MEMS phase shifter.
