公共图书馆作为精神文明建设的主阵地、思想道德教育基地、学生汲取知识的"第二课堂",拥有得天独厚的优势,承担着未成年人思想道德建设的工作,加强未成年人文化建设,做好未成年人的服务工作,是新时期图书馆肩负的神圣使命。贵阳市图书馆本着"一切为读者、为一切读者"的服务理念,积极努力,更新理念,从未成年人的需求出发,探索新的服务方式和内容,顺应时代的发展,加强未成年人数字信息化建设,不断探索为未成年人服务的好方法、新路子,构建良好的未成年人服务工作体系,为未成年人提供广泛的阅读资源,帮助未成年人获取终身学习的能力。

Public libraries,as the main position for the construction of spiritual civilization,ideological and moral education bases,and the ' second classroom' where students draw knowledge,have unique advantages and are responsible for the ideological and moral construction of juveniles,strengthening the cultural construction of juveniles,and serving for juveniles. It is the sacred mission of the library in the new period. Guiyang City Library is committed to the service concept of ' everything is for readers ',actively striving to update the concept,starting from the needs of juveniles,exploring new service methods and contents,adapting to the development of the times,and strengthening the construction of digital information technology for juveniles. And it has constantly explored good methods and new ways of serving juveniles,established a good work system for juveniles,provided them with extensive reading resources,and help them gain the ability of lifelong learning.
