摘要
针对正交频分复用(OFDM)信号的高峰值平均功率比(PAPR)严重影响正交频分复用-光载无线(OFDM-RoF)系统性能的问题,研究了如何利用离散傅里叶变换(DFT)扩频降低OFDM信号的PAPR;理论分析了DFT扩频降低OFDM信号PAPR的原理;研究并设计了一种基于DFT扩频的60GHz光毫米波OFDM-RoF系统。仿真结果表明:与传统的OFDM-RoF系统相比,DFT扩频的OFDM-RoF系统不仅能明显降低OFDM信号的PAPR和光纤非线性效应的影响,而且还可以提高系统的接收机灵敏度。
The high peak-to-average power ratio(PAPR)of orthogonal frequency division multiplexing(OFDM)signals seriously affects the performance of orthogonal frequency division multiplexing radio-over-fiber(OFDM-RoF)systems.This paper studies how to utilize discrete fourier transform(DFT)spread spectrum technique to reduce the PAPR of OFDM signals.The principle of DFT spread spectrum to reduce OFDM signal PAPR is theoretically analyzed.A 60GHz optical millimeter wave OFDM-RoF system based on DFT spread spectrum is studied and designed.The simulation results show that compared with the traditional OFDM-RoF system,DFT spread spectrum OFDM-RoF system can not only significantly reduce the PAPR and non-linear effect of the OFDM signal,but also improve the receiver sensitivity of the system.
