摘要
太赫兹波是指位于微波和红外线之间频段的电磁波。太赫兹波是电磁波段中由电子学向光子学过渡的特殊区域,也是宏观经典理论向微观量子理论的过渡区域,具有重要的科学研究价值和应用价值。人体组织细胞是由蛋白质、核酸、酯类等生物分子组成,每一种物质所特有的分子结构决定了其特征的光谱信息。太赫兹光谱与成像技术能够反映这些分子结构状态和它们之间相互作用。我们研究组近年来在太赫兹光谱技术应用方面做了一些工作,包括对氨基酸和糖类同分异构混合物的定量分析和采用太赫兹光谱技术结合模糊分类器等对宫颈癌组织接片样本进行了分类诊断研究。在该项研究中,我们建立了太赫兹光谱技术测量癌瘤组织的方法;建立多种癌瘤组织太赫兹光谱的特征提取方法;建立了多种适合太赫兹光谱技术进行癌瘤鉴定的分类模型,并对其进行统计学验证。取得了满意的效果。但是从目前的研究工作来看,太赫兹光谱与成像技术进入实际临床应用还有相当长的路要走。
Terahertz wave are the electromagnetic waves between the infrared and microwave regions of the electromagnetic spectrum,with frequency range from 0.1 up to 10 THz.Human body is composed of various proteins,nucleic acids,esters and other biomolecules.The structures of the molecules determinate their characteristic spectral information.Terahertz spectroscopy and imaging can reflect the structures and interactions of the molecules.Our research group has been working on the terahertz spectroscopy and its applications in recent years.Our work includes analysis of mixtures of amino acids and saccharides isomers,and classification and diagnosis of cervical cancer tissues by using fuzzy classifiers and other chemometrics methods.We have established several qualitative and quantitative methods based terahertz spectroscopy and chemometrics.The diagnosis models have been validated and satisfactory results were obtained.However,the cancer diagnosis in clinical application using terahertz spectroscopy and imaging is a long way to go.
