The Evolution of Chinese Sea God Image and the Regional Dissemination of Sea God Culture

中国海神信仰,从地域影响来看,有全国性海神和区域性海神两类。在海神形象的演变上,经历了由自然崇拜向庶民化神祗的演变。海神文化主要通过海神祭祀、建海神庙(宫)、庙会灯会、诗歌传颂、民间传说、碑文经典、戏文表演、商号会馆等八种形式传播。

In terms of regional influence,there are two types of Chinese sea god beliefs:national sea god and regional sea god.In the evolution of the image of the sea god,it experienced the evolution from natural worship to the folk god worship.The culture of the sea god is mainly spread through eight ways,such as the sea god sacrifice,the sea god temple(palace)building,the temple fair,the poetry,the folk legends,the inscription,the opera performances and the guild hall.
