摘要
主机与外设之间一般采用普通屏蔽电缆传输信号,但普通电缆存在易产生对外信息辐射、易受电磁干扰和易受腐蚀等缺陷。而采用光纤代替电缆传输信号时,不仅能解决信息辐射、易受电磁干扰等问题,而且能延长信号传输距离。介绍了计算机主机与显示器之间用光纤传输信号的基本原理,讨论了光接收模块设计中应注意的问题,给出了解决方法。
Data signals are transmitted generally through shield cables between host computer and peripheral equipment. However, general cables will radiate signals, and are liable to electromagnetic disturbance and erosion. Fibers can not only easily resolve above_mentioned questions but also extend signal transport distances. The fundamental principle of transmitting signals through fiber between host computer and monitor is presented. Some of questions about designing optical receiver module are discussed and solutions are given.
