上海市北新泾街道老年人低视力和盲的流行病学调查

An epidemiological survey of low vision and blindness of senile persons in Beixinjing blocks, Shanghai

目的 调查上海市北新泾街道≥ 6 0岁老年人的低视力、盲患病率及致盲原因。方法分别对 1994、1997及 2 0 0 0年上海市北新泾街道所有≥ 6 0岁老年人进行调查 ,并建立视力档案 ,使用针孔镜矫正视力。观察其低视力及盲的患病率 ,分析致盲的主要原因。结果 1994、1997及 2 0 0 0年的实际受检率分别为 83 87%、88 32 %及 91 98% ;各年度低视力和盲的患病率分别为 3 6 1%和1 5 1%、2 31%和 1 0 9%及 1 31%和 0 71%。致盲的主要原因依次为视网膜退行性变、白内障、角膜病及视网膜血管性疾病。结论 1994、1997及 2 0 0 0年该地区盲的患病率及低视力率呈下降趋势 ;

Objective To investigate the morbidities of low vision and blindness and the leading cause of blindness in residents aged ≥60 years in Beixinjing blocks, Shanghai Methods The vision archives were first established for total old residents The pinhole visual acuity was recorded and classified under WHO grading system Assigned ophthalmologic doctors assured the leading blind causes of every blind person Results The response rates in 1994,1997 and 2000 were 83 87%, 88 32% and 91 98% respectively The morbidities of low vision and blindness in these 3 years were 3 61% and 1 51%, 2 31% and 1 09%, 1 31% and 0 71% respectively The leading causes of blindness were degenerative retinopathy (including age related maculopathy), cataract, corneal diseases and retinal angiopathy (including hypertensive and diabetic retinopathy, retinal artery or venous occlusion, etc) Conclusions The morbidities of low vision and blindness in this area decreased from 1994 The leading cause of blindness was degenerative retinopathy
