摘要
J·乔伊斯的《青年艺术家的画像》较之传统的“发展小说”,在叙事风格上表现出了大胆的创新。在这部小说中 ,作者运用第三人称内视角来叙述故事。这一叙事模式实现了绝对的客观叙述 ,开创了在“发展小说”中仅用等述的先例 ,淡化了“故事情节”在“发展小说”中的作用 ,从而打造出一部与众不同的意识流实验“发展小说”。
Compared with the traditional Bildungsromen, A Portrait of the Artist as a Young man by J. Joyce shows the author's bold innovation in its narrative style. In this novel, the author narrates the story by employing the third person internal focalization. The application of this point of view realizes the absolute objective narration, creates the precedent of only narrating the story of a Bildungsroman with the narrating time approximately equivalent to the story developing time and makes less important or unimportant the story plot in a Bildungsroman. Thus, the author produces a unique stream of consciousness experimental Bildungsroman.
