Approaches to Cultivation of Outstanding Legal Talents in Police Academies

卓越法律人是应用型、复合型法律人才,是适应社会主义法治国家建设需要的卓越法律职业人才。公安职业有着对卓越法律人的天然需求。为了弥合法律素养方面来自社会、学者的低评价与公安职业的高要求之间的矛盾,公安院校培养卓越法律人才势在必行。其培养模式应当突出公安特色,在课程设置以及实践教学方面应当以公安职业的切实需求作为出发点。

Outstanding legal talents, known as versatile and practical legal talents, represents outstanding legal talents consistent with the need of construction of the rule-of-law socialist country. The public security career is in natural demand for outstanding legal talents. Accodingly, it is imperative to cultivate outstanding legal talents in police academies in an effort to bridge the contradictions in legal accomplishment between the high demand of public security career and poor opinions from the society and scholars. The cultivation model should highlight public security features. curriculum setting and practical teaching should be based on the practical demand of public security career.
